From the viewpoints Bear Creek Falls can be difficult to see as there are many trees in the way. The falls have two tiers and are quite pretty amidst the canyon but difficult to photograph as light is low and the perspective / angle is problematic.
Highway Directions
From Kelowna, BC, drive south on Highway 97 over the Okanagan Lake Floating Bridge. In 2 kms turn right onto Westside Road (major intersection with traffic lights) and follow the signs to Bear Creek Provincial Park about 7 kms. From Westbank, BC, drive north on Highway 97 and turn left onto Westside Road (major intersection with traffic lights) and follow the signs to Bear Creek Provincial Park about 7 kms.The parking lot is to the left and is large enough for an RV but difficult to access when busy. There is a campground on the right. There are well marked hiking trails and one that loops around the creek with viewpoints for the falls. The trail is moderately steep in areas.
